PROBLEM
After a while, the client wanted to onboard several smaller buyers.
However, these buyers worked on Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) incoterm basis, wherein the risk of goods remains with the seller until delivery.
Invoice discounting would not be an unideal solution for these transactions.
SOLUTION
To cater this need and maintain client loyalty, a working capital facility was opened for all DDP buyers.
Whenever the seller uploaded an invoice with DDP buyers, financing was provided from the working capital facility and not the invoice discounting program.
